Small,  swift,  and wonderfully determined,  the fairy tern nests on just a handful of Aotearoa's northern beaches.  With bright white wings and quick,  darting flight,  it lives close to the sand and sea - and relies on careful protection to thrive.  Pull the cord and watch it fly - a tiny coastal neighbour worth looking out for.
