FAQ
Sometimes the birds can be a little temperamental. Here's some things to check:
Make sure your bird's wings are parallel to the floor. This should also mean the hanging stick is parallel to the floor too. Even small adjustments can make a difference; it's all about the right balance.
Check the gap between the wings and the body. There should be a 2-3 mm of gap on each side where the strings connect it.
Check that the fishing line strings are properly installed: the string should run through the holes and go under the wing (there should be no fishing line across the top of the wing). Make sure it's not caught on a wing tip somewhere.
Are the wings facing the right way? You may laugh, but it's happened before!
When you pull the cord, pull hard enough to make the wings go as far up as the fishing line will let them, but no so hard that you yank the bird and make it wobble.
Hope this helps.
